In Comm 100, I have learned the depth of the future career that I will be taking. At first, it was vague and confusing because of my different perception to media. When the first theory was presented(The Hypodermic Needle Theory), I have agreed to it instantly because of the reason that I knew that media is really powerful. But when Uses and Gratification Theory was lectured(which by the way answers the first question what I have learned best in COMM), my view was changed. I have learned that the audience plays an essential role to the relationship of media and its audience. I have learned that if I'll be a media practitioner, I should be responsible enough in taking things into considerations and keep in mind that I have a smart audience. And why Uses and Gratification? It is because I have learned that in media, you are not always the boss. I should consider the people that I'll be feeding, and with these restrictions, it'll help me in becoming a responsible person of media.
COMM 100 didn't just improve my perception to media but it changed it. Before, as an aspiring media person, I thought that its all about eloquence and intelligence, but then again I've found out that there should be an add-on--responsibility in the atmosphere that I'll be working on.
At this point, I'm still undecided on what particular area in MC that I'll be taking. But after a lot of turn-downs in writing, I took it as a sign that I'm not for that league. Though I would prefer to be a broadcaster someday, I will still write something for my job, and writing, for me, will be inevitable forever. In my opinion, the two are quite the same(writing and speaking), they only differ in the manner of delivery. Though quite confuse, I still believe that I will find the answer by continuing the strenuous study of my course and weigh the area that I'll be more reliable for my future career, and the nation that I'll be serving.

The movie did not disappoint me(Good.). As a matter of fact I have watched it two times(the first time was in Festival Mall Alabang and the second was in SM San Lazaro*share*). Though other people thought that the story was ended hanging, I stilll believed that it was fantastic(it is fantastic!) and made me even more eager to wait for the third ingstallment. So, are you reading this right now and still clue less of what I'm talking about? Go to the nearest movie house(or buy a copy if the playdates are over) and watch it! Just make it sure that you've watched The Curse of the Black Pearl so that you'll not ask a lot of questions like Kim and Mico(Joke lang friends!). Look at Johnny Depp's fingers o, a gesture of perfection! yeee!

aaahh.. Johnny Depp. I fell in love with The Curse of The Black Pearl, I hope that the sequel will not disappoint me. I should hope first to watch the movie. I hope that I will not miss it! Knowing that this will become a trilogy, it made excited in watching the second installment! I went nuts searching who's the Hong Kong actor that will play as the "DASHING" Asian pirate in the third POTC for me to win the contest in HBO(because I am really a POTC addict), and ended up in fustration and doubts if my answer was right! I missed X-men and Superman in theaters(thanks to my cousin's DVD), but not this! Ye be warned!

Where is the moment when we need it the most
You kick up the leaves and the magic is lost
They tell me your blue sky's faded to grey
They tell me your passion's gone away
And I don't need no carrying on
You stand in the line just to hit a new low
You're faking a smile with the coffee to go
You tell me your life's been way off line
You're falling to pieces every time
And I don't need no carrying on
Cause you had a bad day
You're taking one down
You sing a sad song just to turn it around
You say you don't know
You tell me don't lie
You work at a smile and you go for a ride
You had a bad day
The camera don't lie
You're coming back down and you really don't mind
You had a bad day
You had a bad day
Well you need a blue sky holiday
The point is they laugh at what you say
And I don't need no carrying on
You had a bad day
You're taking one down
You sing a sad song just to turn it around
You say you don't know
You tell me don't lie
You work at a smile and you go for a ride
You had a bad day
The camera don't lie
You're coming back down and you really don't mind
You had a bad day
You had a bad day
Sometimes the system goes on the blink and the whole thing it turns out
Wrong
You might not make it back and you know that you could be well oh that
Strong
Well I'm not wrong
So where is the passion when you need it the most
Oh you and I
You kick up the leaves and the magic is lost
Cause you had a bad day
You're taking one down
You sing a sad song just to turn it around
You say you don't know
You tell me don't lie
You work at a smile and you go for a ride
You had a bad day
You see what you like
And how does it feel, one more time
You had a bad day
You had a bad day
You had a bad day
